Join us for Tourism Cares Day, a community-focused initiative that celebrates how the hospitality industry gives back. Held during National Travel & Tourism Week, this event is dedicated to showcasing stories of hotels and tourism professionals that are making a positive impact across San Antonio.

We invite SAHLA members to be part of the movement through a donations, a hands-on volunteer opportunity, and a sweeping social media campaign highlighting our connection to the community we proudly serve.

Together, we’ll highlight the spirit of hospitality that extends beyond our guests and into every corner of our city. Let’s show how Tourism Cares!

HERE'S HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

1) DONATE!

We are collecting donations of toiletry items and linens to put together packages for the unsheltered population in our community. Please reach out to us if you are able to donate:

• Soap
• Shampoo/Conditioner
• Lotion
• Toothbrushes
• Other Sundry / Hygiene Items
• Bed Linen
• Pillows

2) VOLUNTEER!

RSVP below to join us WED., MAY 6 at 10:30 am at Freeman (located at 3323 North PanAm Expy | 78219) to pack bags that will be distributed by our friends at Corazon Ministries to those in need in our community.

LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED FOR VOLUNTEERS thanks to our friends at Freeman!

Founded in 1999, Corazon San Antonio operates in the heart of downtown San Antonio serving our homeless and marginalized neighbors by providing a day center and resource hub, health clinic, housing case management, hot meals, clothing, warm showers, hygiene items, access to recovery groups and spiritual services.

3) POST ON SOCIAL!

We know that your company works hard ALL YEAR to give back to our community and we want to celebrate it!

On WED., MAY 6 we want to FLOOD SOCIAL MEDIA WITH YOUR STORIES OF GIVING!
