The mission of the Angel Buys program is to support and promote career advancement opportunities in the hospitality industry while giving back to the community.

Deals and certificates on this site have been donated by members of the San Antonio Hotel and Lodging Association to fund educational scholarships that support the future leaders of our industry. Since 2005, the San Antonio Hotel & Lodging Association has raised over $500,000 for charitable institutions in the San Antonio area.


Angel Buys is SAHLA’s most important annual fundraiser, supporting the educational component of our mission, aiding the best and brightest college students, like Anesa Sankar and Richard Bundick. Anesa and Richard are the first two graduates of the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management at the University of Houston – San Antonio Campus.

  1. Determine which hotel you would like to stay at and make sure there are enough available nights listed for the desired length of your stay.
  2. Call the hotel contact listed in the product description to determine availability for the dates you would like. Angel Buys Certificates are available at the discretion of each individual hotel, meaning there may be blackout dates around holidays or major conventions. The hotel contact listed will be able to let you know if any restrictions apply to your dates.
  3. Once the hotel contact confirms your date is available, purchase your certificate(s) through our online system.
  4. You will receive an immediate receipt email.
  5. You will receive a second email within TWO HOURS containing your certificate(s). PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK MAIL FOLDER FOR THIS EMAIL AS IT IS OFTEN FLAGGED AS SUCH.
  6. Once you have your certificate number, call the hotel contact back to confirm your reservation and give them your certificate number(s).
  7. Print out your certificate(s) and bring them with you to the hotel to present at check-in.
  8. Enjoy your stay and tell your friends about the great deal you got using Angel Buys!

  2. Read all terms and conditions listed in the product description for each individual item carefully to make sure the item(s) fit your needs. SOME ATTRACTION TICKETS MAY EXPIRE AT DIFFERENT DATES THAN HOTEL CERTIFICATES.
  3. Purchase your item(s) through our online system, please be sure to use accurate shipping information.
  4. You will receive an immediate receipt email.
  5. For physical items, allow 7-10 days for processing and shipping.
  6. For electronic certificates, you will receive a second email within TWO HOURS containing your certificate(s). PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK MAIL FOLDER FOR THIS EMAIL AS IT IS OFTEN FLAGGED AS SUCH.

The San Antonio Hotel & Lodging Association office is not involved in the booking process and each hotel sets its own requirements on the notice required to use a certificate. You must use the certificate before it expires, we do not issue extensions. All purchases made through the Angel Buys Program are final and non-refundable.


We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy.  We may collect personally identifiable information, including your name, address, phone number, and email address when you make a purchase from our site.  We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. Customers who purchase items may receive future correspondence from the San Antonio Hotel & Lodging Association (SAHLA) regarding new items or sales.  If you ever wish not to receive notices from SAHLA, you may click the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email or simply email Info@SAHLA.org with the word “unsubscribe” in the subject line. We will NEVER share or sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.


Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all your personal information, including credit card number, name and address so that it cannot be read over the Internet.


All sales on items purchased from Angel Buys are final and non-refundable.


Any item purchased that is not delivered electronically will be mailed or shipped within 7-10 days of purchase. We determine the most efficient shipping carrier for your order. The carriers that may be used are: U.S. Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS) or FedEx. Credit card authorization and purchase verification must be received prior to processing and shipping an order.
